‘Dysilis or Dysillo [16/7/1897] – Northampton Mercury – Friday, 16/7/1897: ‘Collision of Portland, Yacht Sunk: “collision occurred off Portland this morning between Mr. Moseley’s yacht Dysilis and the steamer Francisco. The Dysilis went to the bottom, and the crew had a very narrow escape from drowning. Two of the men floated from the deck in a boat, and three were left struggling in the sea when she went down. They were however, picked up by a boat from the Dutch steamer Oceana and landed at Weymouth.” See also ref. BOT: Wk Rtn 1897 Appendix C Table 1 p:145.’
