Maritime record MWX2106 - Thames

Remains of the 1891 wreck of an English cargo vessel stranded on the Tar Rocks, on the western side of Portland. She was an iron-hulled steamer, en route from Newlyn to London with a cargo of stone and tin ingots.

(5) Wrecked on Tor Rocks, Chesil Beach. (4) An oiler box, a brass cover, and a valve recovered.
