Monument record MWX213 - Tucking Mill Dairy, Bradpole

Tucking Mill. The mill was identified from documentary sources. There is a pre-1900 photograph of the site in the Dorchester Museum, with the photograph is a note saying the mill was burnt down in 1908.

Tucking Mill. The mill was identified from documentary sources. The building is shown on the 1845 Bradpole Tithe Map, where it is described as 'Tucking Mill, Dairyhouse, Yard & Garden' owned by Albert Way and occupied by Richard Seymour (1).

The building is also shown on the 1890 and 1902 OS 25-inch maps where it is marked 'Tucking Mill Dairy'. (2) (3)

There is a pre-1900 photograph of the site in the Dorset County Museum. With the photograph is a note saying the mill was burnt down in 1908. (4)
