Full Description

`The ST JOHANNES, de Groote, from Seville to London, was wrecked Saturday on the island of Purbec. (2) 18 April, ST JOHANNES, merchantman. The ST JOHANNES, Captain De Groote, from Seville for London, was wrecked on the Isle of Purbeck, but it was expected that her cargo of fruit would be saved. (3) Source (1) follows source (2) in indicating the date of loss as 17-APR-1813.
