Features visible from the air on Green Hill were originally suggested to represent a double-ditched Neolithic causewayed enclosure, or later prehistoric hilltop enclosure (both descriptions appearing in the same published source). The site has been considered as part of the RCHME's Industry and Enclosure in the Neolithic Project. The features visible on air photographs are considered to be mainly geological in origin. <1-2>
