Full Description
The remains of a steel vessel in the Fleet. The vessel comprised a metal framework inside the vessel which was probably lined with wooden planks to form a 'hold'. The vessel may have been used to move goods around the harbour during the Second World War. (1)
A structure is visible at this location on recent aerial photographs (2). It is considered likely this could be the remains of the vessel described above. It was digitally plotted during the South West Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (Dorset).
