Two terraces, cut into the south facing slope 100m north-west of the Headbury cliff quarry, may be remains of strip lynchets. The treads of these lynchets are 1.5m high and 50m apart. The upper lynchet can be traced for 100m. See air photograph RAF CPE/UK 1821 3399.
