Full Description

308 fragments of medieval pottery recovered from topsoil during watching brief. Most were undiagnostic but there was one sherd of a glazed tripod pitcher dating to the 12th century and other glazed wares from the 13th or 14th century. Three sherds from spoil heap from Medieval cooking pots and a slash strap handle dated to the 13th to 16th century (1)
