Full Description

Coastguard Station marked on the 1889 and 1903 Ordnance Survey 25-inch maps (1) (2). It is marked as Old Coastguard Cottages on the 1929 Ordnance Survey 25-inch maps.

The coastguard station was built some time after 1841, as the Charmouth Tithe map shows an unoccupied house and yard on the site (3).
