Full Description
A Bronze age Sword, recovered from Weymouth Backwater, on the north side of Westham Bridge. Length 19 3/4 inches. Hilt broken off above four small rivet-holes, one with the remainder of a very small rivet, the tip of the blade is missing. Dredged from the Backwater in 1900. Now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford and originally reported in PDNHAS 58 (1937) 26. (1)
