Daily Record 42/1944 At 09.30 hours on 6-6-44 on Chesil beach half a mile from Langton Herring Coastguard station a Liberator No 294885. Seven of the crew accounted for. 12 bombs jettisoned some in the sea, some on the beach. (2)
