Summary

A parish church dating to the late 12th or early 13th century and largely unaltered. It consists of a nave, chancel and south porch. The remains of a medieval wall painting are visible above the door.

Full Description

Parish Church of St Nicholas at Arne with roughly squared and faced carstone walls, consists of a single-cell chancel and nave built in the late 12th or early 13th century and a south porch which is also of medieval origin. The church was restored in the mid 19th century and in 1952. <2>
