Full Description

About 1913, when Walrond Road, Swanage (centred SZ 028-792) was being cut a stone axehead was found <1.1>. No further details of this axehead were obtained during field investigation nor was it discovered whether it was polished or not. Three Neolithic axeheads have been found in the immediate vicinity. <1>
