Abstract/Summary
"ROMAN REMAINS – A beautiful piece of tessellated pavement was found in the Gaol grounds, while excavating a grave for the convict Seal. Upon the discovery another spot was chosen, and an attempt will be made to preserve this relic of antiquity. The pattern is very distinct and the colours rich in variety."
