Abstract/Summary
A desk-based assessment was undertaken in November 1995 of an area proposed for housing development adjacent to Mulberry Court (off Dean Lane), Sixpenny Handley. The proposed development area is centred on SU 00181734.
There is no known record of archaeological activity within the proposed development site. The site does lie, however, approximately 175 m north-east of a known area of medieval occupation, dating from the 12th-13th centuries, which was excavated in advance of development in 1988.
