Abstract/Summary

Four 1.5m. x 14m trial pits located one possible sand pit, and one ditch with abundant Verwood type pottery sherds, mostly wasters. A further group of unstratified pottery seems to indicate an undisturbed deposit. A known kiln site lies less than 100m away.
