The document sets out proposals for undertaking an archaeological watching brief and historic building recording prior to and during works associated with the de-construction of a Grade II listed building and construction of five houses and two flats to the rear of the property. The site lies within the Wimborne Conservation Area which has been designated in the East Dorset Local Plan to preserve and enhance its architectural and historic significance. A property has been on the site since the 17th century, but the existing fabric dates principally from the 18th and 19th centuries.
