Abstract/Summary
Observations and recording in January 2012 during groundworks for the construction of new observation boreholes over approximately 860m in an area rich in Bronze Age monuments. The work was commissioned and funded by Wessex Water. Two intercutting curving gullies were recorded; the earlier of these may have formed naturally but the one cutting it was archaeological in origin. This feature was interpreted as possibly related to a circular building, though it would be unusual for a prehistoric domestic structure to be so close to barrows. No finds were observed.
