Abstract/Summary
‘A detailed magnetometer survey was conducted over approximately 11 ha of arable land at Bradpole, near Bridport, Dorset. Two rectilinear enclosures have been identified, one of which may be related to a cursus monument however its interpretation as such is tentative. A series of ditch-like anomalies are likely related to a former field system and may be related to the two rectilinear enclosures. Several small discrete anomalies may be a result of pitting or extraction activity, though could equally be of natural origin. A former field boundary, evidence of ploughing and underground services have also been mapped.’
