Abstract/Summary
Report on observations and recording during groundworks for the erection of new public information boards at four locations north, west and east of Hambledon Hill hillfort. 'Only one new sign was within the hillfort itself – at the edge of the inner ditch of the outworks to the south east entrance. This penetrated into the upper silts of the ditch and the stabilisation layer above. No significant archaeology and no artefacts were revealed'.
