Author/Originator | Coy, Jennie |
Date/Year | 1977 |
Ancient Monuments Laboratory | 2828 |
Abstract/Summary
This report provides information on the bone finds recovered from a site by Mrs Jessica Winder, Poole Museums.
The finds include mammal bones and makes note of a separate report which holds the information of the fish bones.
The majority of the finds were from bird remains as usually happens for urban accumulations of this period. These birds remains were from domestic fowl and a large goose. There is also a high incindence of ducks and coastal birds which fits the location of this site - 100 yards of less form the see.
