Abstract/Summary
Archaeological evaluation revealed Roman activity on the site in the form of clay-lined 'fire pits' and 'briquetage' and at least one linear cut feature 18th century pottery and clay pipe fragments were also recovered from the upper layers of the evaluation trenches.
An appendix to the report presents the Specification for Archaeological Services prepared by Poole Museum Service Archaeological Unit.
