1. SOUTH STREET 5191 (East Side) Methodist Church SY 699O 7/289 II
2. 1875. Architect: W S Allardyce. Rockfaced rustication. Ashlar details. Giant order of 4 Tuscan pilasters taking modillioned pediment (of which the sloping sills have both egg-and-dart and acanthus ornament). Between 2 central pilasters, round arch (with 1 order of fluting and 1 of egg-and-dart) breaks upwards framing 3 grouped lancets with round arches and cable moulding on slender colonnettes. Below this a band of vine leaf ornament. Below this 2 doors with round-arched fanlights in rusticated ashlar surrounds. In flanking bays 2 pairs of paired round-arched lancets with 1 order of roll moulding.
