Public House, on corner site. Early C19. Walls part brick, part roughcast - all colourwashed. Tiled roof; brick end stacks - one roughcast. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys and attics, with basement in south wing. C20 door, under hood on shaped brackets. Ground floor has 2 3-light double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and segmental arches. First floor has 3 similar windows. Attic has 3 hipped dormers with casements with glazing bars. East elevation of south wing has 2 canted bay windows on ground floor and 2 double-hung sash windows on first floor. Attached single-storey stable range at rear of south wing, of brick, with tiled roof. RCHM Monument 10.
