Description

An archaeological watching brief during re-surfacing and associated works along a stretch of the A35T Chideock. In most places groundworks did not reach sufficient depths to reveal underlying deposit of pre-modern date. An earlier cobbled surface (considered to be C19th century in date) was observed.
