Description

A quantity of Late Iron Age and Romano-British pottery sherds were recovered during the digging of foundations for new houses at Town's End, Corfe Castle during or shortly before 1964. Inspection of the garden yielded negative results, although a neighbouring house produced a quantity of medieval sherds. NRHE: Watching brief maintained on a pipe trench (1963).
