Abstract/Summary
' P. A. Brown reports that Mr. D. King, occupant of one of a group of new homes at Town's End adjoining Corfe Common, about 100ft above sea level on Wealden beds, has a quantity of sherds found in digging the foundations (SY 96308117); these include Iron Age C or early Romano-British ware, and later Romano-British sherds. Inspection of the garden yielded negative results. Aneighbour, Mrs. Bollom, has a quantity of mediaeval sherds from her house (SY 92688117)'
