Summary

Bronze Age bowl barrow forming part of the Winterbourne Poor Lot Barrow Group. In 1952 this barrow was described as being around 50 feet in diameter with a mound about 4½ feet high, and with possible traces of a ditch encircling this and the adjacent barrow.

Full Description

Bronze Age bowl barrow forming part of the Winterbourne Poor Lot Barrow Group. The site is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. {1-2}

Barrow, between the 400ft. and 500ft. contours on the E. part of Black Down. One of twenty. 50ft. in diam and 4.5ft. high. There are possible traces of a continuous ditch on the N. side.
