Full Description
About half-a-dozen or more inhumations were found evenly spaced in a line in what is now the southern part of the Grove Trading Estate, during World War I. The approximate position was recounted to R. A. H. Farrar by W. G. Lee in 1951 (1).
These burials are likely to be Late Roman in date and part of a formal cemetery. This cemetery would lie well to the southeast of the main excavated Late Roman cemetery.
