Full Description
Part of an axe head of Neolithic date reported as being ploughed up in sand. The published note described the axe as being of a medium-grained dark igneous rock, greenstone. (1) The published note has a reference number 1092.
ST 57761522. A fragment of a medium-grained, dark greenstone axe was ploughed up in sand near the Yeovil Golf Course. S.W. Museum Survey No. 1092. (1)
