Decoy pond at Abbotsbury, mentioned in documents dating from 1655-6. The central pool is 57m square with three pipes in the north western, north eastern and south eastern corners. The pipes vary from 1.5-5m wide and 15-50m long.

Duck decoy pond at Abbotsbury, mentioned in documents dating from 1655-6. The central pool is 57m square with three pipes in the north western, north eastern and south eastern corners. The pies vary from 1.5-5m wide and 15-50m long. <2>

The decoy pond is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs <3-5> and was digitally plotted as part of the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
