Monument record MWX3395 - Post-Medieval walls, land off Reap Lane, Southwell, Portland

Linear drystone structure, 2.4m wide and up to 0.35m high traced for c. 16m. Comprised a mass of limestone slat with very little apparent structure though the ocre is distinguished by slightly larger stones, no dating evidence recovered (1)

Two possible post-medieval walls. Linear spread of limestone rubble oriented N-S, same alignment as lawn sheds in the area and probably part of strip field system. At right angles to this another linear spread of stone rubble, less-well defined, may just be concentration of stone at the base of the colluvium (2)

Possible wall oriented NNE-SSW comprised of randomly-laid limestone slat about 1.3m wide and 0.35m high (3)
