Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was conducted on land off Tan Lane, Bourton, Dorset (NGR ST7805 3100) in Luly 1992. Three machine-excavated trenches revealed shallow soil deposits directly overlying natural clay. With the exception of recent land drains and medieval or post-medieval field boundaries, no subsoil features of archaeological origin were revealed.
