Abstract/Summary
Report presents the results of a programme of archaeological observations and recording carried out by Poole Museum Service Archaeology Unit at Upton Country Park, Creekmoor, Poole, in relation to the construction of a new toilet block and installation of services.
Twelve trenches were excavated by groundworks contractors. The only find of archaeological significance was a possible linear ditch aligned north east - south west in Trench 11. Partial excavation of this feature yielded Roman Black Burnished Ware and large amounts of briquetage.
